From the profiles of students who were admitted to these schools and now mentor on Appybara. We verify the admission before a profile counts, and every activity and award named in a guide is on that person's public profile, linked from the guide itself. Nothing is modelled or invented.
Why only these schools?
A school appears once we hold enough verified admits to write about it honestly. That is what keeps the list at 26 rather than 200. As more admitted students join as mentors, more schools qualify.
Is this what I need to get in?
No. These are real applicants, not a bar to clear. Each guide is explicit about what its students are NOT: the ones with no research, no athletic hook, or no competition awards got in too. Read them as examples of shapes that worked, not as a checklist.
Can I talk to the students in these guides?
Yes, that is the point of naming them. Every profile card in a guide links to that person's profile, where you can see their full application background and book time with them.
How current is this?
