Fill in minutes, not an evening
You wrote your activities, honors and details on Appybara. Open your Common App and a small Appybara button appears in the corner.
Press it and every answer you wrote is ready to copy across.
Appybara19You see every answer first
The same sections as on Appybara, each saying what is new and what would change. New answers are ticked. Where your Common App already says something different, you pick.
Nothing is written until you press Copy.

Change it there, it shows up here
Fixed a phone number on the Common App? The next time you save there, Appybara picks it up on its own. Reading is all it does in that direction.
Your application page tells you when the two are in step, and when something needs you.
How a sync works
Read
The extension reads your Common App, inside the Common App tab, so we know what is already there.
Compare
Appybara lines it up against what you wrote here: empty there, the same, or different.
You review and press Copy
In the Common App tab you tick what goes in and press Copy. It saves one answer, checks it stuck, then does the rest.
Privacy, plainly
This is the extension’s privacy policy. It is short because the extension does very little with your data.
Your Common App sign-in stays in the Common App tab
The extension uses your Common App session only inside that tab, and never stores it. Appybara's website never sees it, and your password is never seen at all.
Your answers travel only through your own browser
Between Appybara and the Common App, answers move from one tab to the other on your computer. They are not routed through a server of ours.
The extension never signs in to Appybara and sends nothing to us
No analytics, no tracking, no copies of your application. What Appybara stores is what you typed on Appybara.
You can remove it any time
Remove it from chrome://extensions and it is gone, along with anything it held in your browser.

Frequently asked questions
Is it safe?
It only runs on the Common App’s site and on Appybara, uses the Common App’s own save for every answer, and checks each one saved correctly. It can’t see your password and sends nothing to us.
What if the two disagree?
Nothing is overwritten on either side. You see both answers side by side and pick one. Until you do, both stay as they are.
Does it submit anything?
Never. It copies the answers you tick, and only when you press Copy. Submitting your application stays with you, on the Common App.
Does it work on my phone?
No. Chrome extensions run on computers only. You can keep writing on Appybara from your phone and fill the Common App later from a laptop.
Is it free?
Yes, like the rest of the Application Studio.
Stop typing your application twice.
Write it on Appybara, check it once, and fill your Common App for free.
