How did you balance your academic curiosity with your dedication to ballet?

My school only offered two AP courses, but I didn't let that stop me. I self-studied for six additional AP exams in subjects I was genuinely interested in to demonstrate my intellectual drive alongside my six-hour daily dance training.

What advice do you have regarding the college essay writing process?

I recommend planning everything well in advance. I started my essays just six days before the deadline, which resulted in zero social life and significant stress. A week is not enough time to reflect on the stories that truly represent your character.

What do you believe set your profile apart from other applicants?

I focused on showcasing my expertise in dance and targeted schools with a strong arts presence. I believe universities with active ballet clubs appreciated my specific background and the discipline I developed as a pre-professional artist.
